A bare torso, exposed as if ready for an experience. In one hand he holds a book titled “Harakiri User Manual”; with the other, he props up his chin in a gesture of concentration. He reads carefully. With curiosity. As if searching for a clue, a detail, a footnote in fine print.

Except it is already too late.

From his abdomen protrudes a samurai sword, the blade suspended in midair like a silent commentary on the entire scene. The decision was made before the reading. The act preceded understanding.

“User Manual” is an ironic, almost absurd reflection on human nature. On our tendency to act first — and check the rules later. On the belief that “it’ll work out somehow,” which so often ends in consequences that are difficult to undo.

It is an image that plays with dark humor, yet strikes precisely at the core. It reminds us that every decision has its price, and that ignoring knowledge can be more painful than acquiring it.

Hung on a wall, it becomes a perverse warning. Minimalist, powerful, unforgettable.

Because the message is simple — though not always easy to accept:
whatever you do, read the user manual first.
